Art
Art Magic! – Gr. K
Step into a world of imagination, color, and make-believe! ART Magic! is perfect for our youngest creative minds as we bring fairy tales to life and create whimsical, fantastical artwork like a superhero panda, a penguin on skates, Kandinsky-inspired cats, musical instruments, and quirky art creatures. Through stories, imaginative play, and hands-on artmaking, children will explore a wide variety of materials including watercolor, paint, soft pastels, clay, illustration markers, and AquaStic along with manipulative-based engineering activities and storytelling magic in our BrickLAB “Magic Beans” adventures. Campers work together to build characters and stage props for different folktales. Best of all, this camp nurtures creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of art—sprinkled with plenty of fun and magic along the way!
Enchanted Creatures of the World – Gr. K
Welcome boys and girls to our fantasy world of enchanting creatures ike a Niffler, Elves, Fairies, Hobgoblin, Dragon, Narwal & Merpeople, Sea Serpents, Gnomes, Pixies, Will-o-wisp, and Unicorn! Projects include creating magical wands and good luck potions, sculpting clay creatures and houses, making goblin slime, painting, drawing, and dressing up as their favorite fantastical beast. We will read stories, make masks, and use a variety of mixed media to create a magical world! LOTS of artsy fun, reading, and make-believe! While exploring this magical world, children develop fundamental art skills—learning how lines, shapes, and colors work together to create the creatures they imagine.
Mini Masters – Gr. K
Young artists will paint whimsical animals, sculpt colorful creations, and explore the work of famous artists like Matisse, Picasso, Frida Kahlo, and Yayoi Kusama. Through drawing, painting, collage, and clay projects, campers discover how to bring their ideas to life using professional-quality art materials—from watercolors and soft pastels to markers, paint and clay. Each project builds confidence and fundamental art skills, helping children learn how lines, shapes, and colors work together to create the pictures they imagine. Expect lots of creative exploration, hands-on fun, and masterpieces to take home!
Engineering, Coding & Robotics
Little Tynker – Gr. K
This is the perfect camp for the 5-year-old girl or boy to tinker, build new things, take apart others, discover circuitry, and learn how things work. With creative construction materials such as Lego STEAM Park, Tech Machines, K’NEX, KEVA, Early Simple Machines and Snap Circuits, your little Tynker will create and tinker to their heart’s content. Add to our camp great stories, like Intersteller Cinderella, Rosie Revere, Engineer, and Iggy Peck, Architect that encourage “thinking outside the box.” Every day includes new projects to build, puzzles to solve, and discoveries to make. Whether it is building towers, mazes, or a zoo; learning circuitry to create a water alarm, doorbell, or sirens; testing out levers, gears, axles; or discovering the inside of a radio, this camp is sure to spark curiosity and creative thinking.
Little Bot Programmer – Gr. K
Yes, 5 year-olds can learn to code through fun and engaging play! We use KIBO, Dash & Dot Robots, Puzzlets, Scratch Jr., and KEVA Planks to introduce beginning programming, robotics, and engineering to young children. They create mazes, build 3D models, learn to code charming and talkative robots with light, sound, and sensors, and make DIY costumes and accessories to enhance their personality! With Scratch Jr, kids create characters in interactive games and stories, add voices and sounds, make their characters move, jump, dance, and sing as they snap together graphical programming blocks. Kids increase logical thinking, visual processing, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Warning! Be prepared…your child will not want to leave camp at the end of each day!
Little Toy Engineer- Gr. K
Young engineers will dive into our Toy Workshop, as they craft kaleidoscopes with swirling colors, launch pocket rockets, design musical instruments, construct sailboats, and create ring toss games. Campers also build marble runs and structures with marshmallows, test catapults, experiment with floating and sinking a cartesian diver, make a lava lamp and use engineering skills to construct towers and contraptions. Each day combines hands-on building, playful experiments, and creative problem-solving—plus every camper goes home with their own handmade toys. If your child loves making things, this is the camp for them!
Science
Jr. Biologist – Gr. K
Did you know scientists discover new animals every year? In this unique camp, you will discover incredible creatures from tiny stick bugs to massive alligators, sleepy sloths to soaring birds of prey, learn about a bee’s “waggle dance”, how zebra stripes are like fingerprints, and that porcupine quills are coated with natural antibiotics! You’ll learn where different animals live, what they eat, and the fascinating things that make them unique. Create animal habitats, sculpt your favorite creatures, paint wildlife scenes, and do hands-on experiments as you explore mammals, insects, reptiles, and birds. Every day brings new animal facts, creative projects, and wild fun. Who knows—you might even solve the mystery of why the chicken crossed the road!
Jr. Chemist – Gr. K
Explore the fun of Chemistry with all that is ooey, gooey and just plain slimy! Young scientists become chemists as they mix up amazing creations—bouncy putty, colorful bubble paint, explosive blobs, and even homemade chewing gum. Through hands-on experiments, campers discover how chemistry works: what makes pennies shine, why fruits change color, how candy reveals hidden colors, and what happens when ingredients react. Children learn to measure, predict, observe, and explore like real scientists—all while making wonderfully messy concoctions. Every day brings new experiments, surprising reactions, and plenty of ooey-gooey discoveries!
